The Mad Hatter
The Mad Hatter in Durham, NC will be held responsible if i cannot stop going back for their succulent cookies, creamy hot cocoa, refreshing smoothies, earthy soups, and reliably delicious sandwiches and salads.
Where do I start? Should I even begin to tell you how when you bite into one of their after dinner mint or milkshake cupcakes, how life begins to fit together, like just one bite of that creamy ganache can alter the way you see the world? Or can a cup of hot chocolate bring out the life in you?
There is one thing left to do. Rate the Mad Hatter, although I feel that you may be getting slightly bored of my ratings, as they are usually the same. But since the whole point of this blog is to tell people what restaurants to go to, I have to do it, which I am pleased about, as it brings me quite a bit of pleasure.
I hereby rate The Mad Hatter in Durham, NC's staff, ambiance and of course, food, a 97%.
Thanks For Reading! Enjoy!

At Only Burger Burgers and Fries located in Shannon Plaza, you will never be able to go back to drive thru burgers. The meat was juicy, fresh, and the carolina burger i ordered slathered with house-made chili was delighting. The french fries were juicy and hot, crispy on the outside and gooey and warm on the inside. The thing about the bun on the burger is that it pulled everything together, being butter toasted and crisp, still staying perfectly crunchy after being soaked with the juices of beef chili, ketchup and mustard. What used to be a food truck has turned into a phenomenon that people will never be able to forget after just one bite of fresh beef. And the miniature dive like ambiance had me coming back the next week for more. The staff was welcoming, hospitable, and warm to every customer that walked through the door.
Using my rating system, i hereby present the staff, ambiance, and of course, food, at Only Burger, a 95%. @onlyburger

Pizzeria Toro Photos
Pizzeria Toro Review
Pizzeria Toro was simply inexplicable. The flavors and crispy crust of
the pizza we ordered really hits the spot on a cold winter night in down
town Durham, North Carolina, not to mention the husky/warm ambiance of
the joint located on Main Street.
I simply cannot forget how succulent the lamb meatballs were, napped with a sprinkling of rapini and cacio di Roma, which was distributed about three to a slice.
And I simply cannot forget the soft egg, mushroom, and arugula pizza, or the buffalo mozzarella pizza slathered with San Marzanos.
We ordered three desserts- a pear crostata with sprigs of mint, Gianduja Budino topped with hazelnuts and a almond cookie, and two cannoli filled with an unsweetened creme fresh esque Filling. Everything was lovely, and dessert was refreshing and a nice wrap up to a delicious meal, though I was not as partial to the creme fresh over a sweetened filling (my sweet tooth talking). But the meal left little to none to be desired, and I was quite pleased by the exquisite flavors and abilities that this fairly new business posed for a dinner option of foodies in the triangle.
On my rating scale, 100% being incredible and 0% being horrible, I hereby give the staff, ambiance, and of course, food, at Pizzeria Toro a 95%.
Thank you for reading, please come back next week for a review! @pizzeriatoro
